Regular
boats go from Bophut Pier and Maenam Pier directly to Mae
Haad. Both cost THB450 one way and both leave at 08:30. Otherwise
there is a speed boats service from Nathon leaving at 12:00. The journey
takes on-and-a-half hours in good weather, but if the sea is rough you
should be prpared for a couple of hours of very bumpy riding in a packed
boat. Return speedboats leave Koh Tao for Nathon, Samu and
Thongsala Phangan at 15:00 hours every day. Speedboats from
Phangan to Koh Tao leave Thongsala at 08:30 and 12:30 to/from Phangan it
cost THB250. |

| Songserm
Express boat, which leaves Nathon Pier in Samui at 12:00 and takes three
hours, it also stops to pick up passengers in Phangan at Thongsala at
14:30; the cost is also THB450 one way and the return trip leaves Koh
Tao from Mae Haad at 10:30. From Phangan it costs THB150. |

| The
slow boat departs from Maenam pier in Samui at 09:30 and goes to Mae
Haad via Thognsala, in Koh Phangan. It takes five hours and costs
THB100. Another boat leaves Koh Tao at 09:30 for the return
journey. Tickets fro all boats can be purchased at the piers or
from any travel agent. |

Chumphon |
| Speed
boats leave Chumphon at 07:00 and 08:00 and take two hours costing
THB500 and returning cost THB350.
Songserm express boats leave the pier at
Chumphon at 07:30 every day. The journey takes three hours,
costing THB400. The return trip leaves Mae Haad at 15:00 and costs
THB350.
