From Samui and
Suratthani, speed boats connect with Thongsala on
Phangan daily from Maenam and Bophut piers. They leave
both ports at 08.30 and the journey takes just 20-minutes; the
cost is THB250 each way.
There
are also speed boats to and from Nathon pier, in Samui and
Thongsala. They leave Nathon at 12.00 and return from
Thongsala at 10:30; the cost is THB150

Songserm Express boats also connect with Thongsala from
Thatthong pier, just outside Suratthani town, via Nathon at
10:30 and then leaving Nathon at 11:00 and arriving in Thongsala
at 11:45.

Note:
Sometimes express boats go to Kanom instead of Thatthong
according to water levels and weather conditions.

Songserm also operates a car ferry service from Kanom to Phangan
via Samui. It departs from Thongsala at 06:30 arriving
Nathon at 08:00 and Kanom at 09:30. On the return journey
it departs kanom at 18:00, arrives Nathon 19:30 and Thongsala at
21:00.

In the
afternoon ther is a boat from Nathon at 15:30 that arrives in
Thongsala at 18:15. |

Boats depart for Samui and then Surat Thani at 06:15 and
13:30. It costs THB95 each
way to/from Samui and THB145 each way to/from Suratthani.

A big
wooden Ferry leaves Maenam pier at 09:30 every morning and takes
an hour to get to Thongsala, costing THB100. It return at
12:00.

The
Haad Rin Queen, a wooden ferry, goes from Big Buddha directly to
Haad Rin. Departing from Big Buddha Pier at 10:30, 13:30
and 16:30 and returning from Haad Rin Pier at 09:30, 11:30 and
14:30. |

Maenam to Phangan; stopping at Haad Rin (THB120); then Haad Tien
(THB150) and finally Thong Nai Pan (THB200). it can take an hour
to Haad Rin adn boats don't go if the weather is bad. |

There
are nightboats from Ban Don in central Surat Thani to Thongsala.
They depart both ports every evening at 22:00 and takes six and
a half hours; the cost is THB170 each way. |
